This is the website of the Development Gateway, an organization that helps communities, organizations, and individuals build partnerships to reduce poverty. It contains subject-based and keyword indices. For each topic, the sub-page contains a discussion of the key issues, current news and projects. The site includes information about HealthLink, a project of HST to meet the communication and information needs of health workers in South Africa. There is also an extensive gateway to information resources relevant to those involved in public health and health systems development. The links are arranged by subject and are regularly updated. NLM Gateway is a Web-based system that lets users search simultaneously in multiple retrieval systems at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).
